The WILD Academy
The Academy trains staff so everyone delivering the Framework understands it the same way. Practitioners move through four stages. At each stage they show evidence of their work with young people instead of sitting a course.
The practitioner pathway
Each stage is assessed against real work with young people and signed off by a WILD Assessor. Practitioners move up a stage once an assessor has seen their practice.
WILD Foundation Practitioner
Understanding The WILD Framework and its application to everyday practice.
WILD Applied Practitioner
Using WILD practice consistently with young people and recording the evidence.
WILD Advanced Practitioner
Leading and modelling WILD practice within a team or provision setting.
WILD Lead Practitioner
Shaping practice, quality-assuring delivery and developing others within the WILD methodology.

WILD Assessor
Quality-assures practitioner evidence and confirms progression between stages.
WILD Supervisor
Provides reflective, framework-aligned supervision to practitioners in the field.
WILD Trainer
Licensed to deliver Academy training within their own organisation.
Curriculum
What practitioners learn
Training is delivered through the same cycle practitioners use with young people: Understand, Support, Engage, Develop. Trainers model the method as they teach it.

Who the training is for
Academy training is open to practitioners working in alternative provision, SEND settings, youth work and therapeutic education, and is delivered organisation-wide for providers adopting the Framework.
