Who We Are
Specialist Therapeutic Alternative Provision
Wild Minds Pro Ltd is a specialist therapeutic educational provider based in Buckinghamshire, operating three specialist sites: The Farm Campus, Acorn House, and Cookham Lodge. We provide specialist alternative provision for young people aged 11–25 with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, EBSA, trauma histories, and complex needs.
Our provision is commissioned by local authorities and schools, and can sit alongside existing education, form part of an alternative provision package, or be delivered as part of an EOTAS (Education Other Than At a School) arrangement.
Wild Minds is not a generic mentoring service or a farm visit. We are a specialist therapeutic educational provider — with qualified clinicians, specialist teachers, registered practitioners, and deeply experienced support staff — delivering measurable outcomes for young people with complex and overlapping needs.
We do not simply provide placements. We build pathways.
Our Three Sites
The Farm Campus
Animal care, outdoor learning, land-based vocational skills, and therapeutic work with animals
Acorn House
Calm therapeutic and functional skills provision — ideal for young people needing a quieter, structured setting
Cookham Lodge
Preparation for adulthood, independence skills, and post-16 support for 16–25 year olds
Our Therapeutic Model
Behaviour is communication. Engagement follows regulation. Every decision we make is guided by these principles.
What Makes Us Different
Our Values in Practice
Consistency
The same practitioners, the same environments, the same expectations — every time. Consistency is the foundation of safety for our young people.
Relational Practice
Every young person is carefully matched to their practitioners. Relationships are not incidental — they are the primary vehicle of change.
Regulation First
We never expect a young person to learn before they are safe and regulated. Safety → Connection → Regulation → Learning. In that order, always.
Genuine Expertise
Our team includes qualified therapists, social workers, teachers, mental health nurses, and specialist animal care practitioners — not just support workers.
Lived Experience
Our provision is led by practitioners with genuine lived experience of neurodivergence, trauma, and recovery. We understand what it feels like.
Measurable Outcomes
We are accountable. Every placement is assessed, reviewed, and reported against clear outcomes — to commissioners, to families, and to ourselves.
