Make a ReferralRolling starts, year-round

Placements at Wild Minds Alternative Provision are referral only. The quickest way to start is to book a call with our team using the calendar below, and we will tell you honestly whether a placement is likely to be suitable.

What happens next

01

Referral received

We acknowledge within two working days and confirm what further information we need.

02

Suitability conversation

A call with the referrer, and where appropriate the family, to test fit against the pathways.

03

Visit and assessment

The young person visits a site; we complete a whole-person baseline across the five strands.

04

Plan, funding and start

An individual support plan and tier are agreed, funding confirmed, and a gentle start date set.

The process in full

From first enquiry to review meeting

Every referral follows the same route, so families and commissioners always know where things stand. Most placements begin with a half term trial, followed by a review with everyone involved.

Wild Minds referral process: initial enquiry, information shared, visit arranged, paperwork received, offer made, half term trial, review meeting

Pick a slot in the calendar below. You do not need every detail to start. Initials, age and a short summary of need are enough for a first conversation.

Looking for 1:1 mentoring?

Wild Mind Well-Being CIC

Our sister company offers 1:1 mentoring sessions that families can book privately, without a referral. If a full placement is not what you need, this is often the right starting point.
